HOGWASH 2004
Hawgsmoke is the bi-annual bombing and tactical gunnery
competition of the A-10 Thunderbolt II. Last held on
29 Apr 04 - 2 May 04, Squadrons from across the country and around the
globe, as far away as South Korea and Germany, will send a team to fly
and compete for the honor of “Best of the Best” in ground attack and
target destruction. Hosted by the winners of the previous
competition, Hawgsmoke is an intense competition and an opportunity to share in the
camaraderie and fellowship of the world’s premier Close Air Support
fighter, as well as legacy of its pilots and support crews.
